If you've all been wondering where DDP has been the last week or so,
because I know I have, it seems that WCW has finally given the man of 1,000
injuries a couple of weeks off to heal. However, upon Mr. Page's return,
look for him to immediately go after Hollywood Hogan, as WCW's has lost
most of its main event players to either the nWo or the Wolfpac.
Scott Hall came back to the WCW just in time for him to leave again.
Hall is checking himself in to rehab once again which will take him out
of action for 4 to 6 weeks. Naturally he won't be appearing at the Great
American Bash unless they delay his admittance but I really don't see that
happening.
Steve Regal has trimmed down to a slim 251. When he was in the WCW
he was 280. The WWF is going to use him when he gets down to 245 so he
is almost there. Of course he has to get over his health problems first.
Hes been battling with pneumonia. These problem may keep him from being
Sable's surprise which was originally the rumor.
Steve Austin is slated to have someone in his corner when he takes
on Dude Love at Over the Edge. Thereare two names being thrown around,
Dustin Runnels and Terry Funk. You would probably think that Dustin is
the logical choice but in actuality there is stronger evidence that Terry
Funk will be watching Austin's back instead.
Finally don't get your hopes up for the Goldberg-Hennig match at the
GAB. There is a good chance Hennig won't make it and instead Norton will
be taking his place. This may be due to Hennig's knee. He can't wrestle
yet and they are just assuming he will be able to come next month when
he likey won't.
Well the story is that through his football years he actually learned
to induce vomiting at will. WWF.com reaports that at in a game against
the Miami Dolphins he actually threw up all over the ball on National television,
which is where the name came from and why it has stuck with him over the
years.
The British Bulldog wrestled Rage of High Voltage at a house show in
Memphis last night according to Al F'N Issacs.
This clears up all the rumors about the Bulldog being fired and negotiating
with Titan.
Sunny no showed a recent autograph signing. When asked on her whereabouts,
her agent said that she had been in a car accident. No word on whether
this was just an excuse or if this was indeed true. I will try to get more
on this ASAP
Expect a Steve Austin vs. Ken Shamrock at the May In Your House.
Dude love is going to retire and introduce a new, yes his 4th personality
this week.
Expect Val Venis to be managed by Jenna Jamison or Marlena when he
makes his first appearence in the WWF.
Yokuzuna is very close to closing a deal with the WWF. Reportedly he
has been at the last couple of shows, backstage.
Expect Sunny to turn on the LOD 2000 after Unforgiven, and join up
with the New Age Outlaws and DX.
Dr, Death wrestled a match, and has apparently signed with WWF, he
might wrestle this monday on Raw.
Expect Chris Jericho to leave WCW after his contract runs out later
this year
Jericho sounds like he definitely will be gone, Vince McMahon said"
he is the next Shaun Michaels." Jericho believes he can become a star in
WWF.
Ric Flairhas apparently been fired from the WCW.
Bill Goldberg is the U.S, heavyweight Champ.
Expect 2 new members of the Flock, Horace Boulder and " Hardbody "
Harrison, their names in the Flock are unknown to me at this time.
Don't expect Sean Waltman ( X-Pac, The Kid, Syxx) to begin wrestling
until June.
In the near future I expect Stone Cold to send roses to Sable, enraging
Marc Mero and setting up a match. If Mero wins he'll get the belt, if Austin
wins he'll get Sable.
Klub Kamikazee is expected to attack BlackJack Bradshaw in the coming
weeks. Why? I have no clue.
Expect Too Sexy Brian Christopher to beat Taka for the lightweight
belt before summer. Then he will begin a fued with X-Pac.
The latest information on HBK is that he will be healthy again sooner
than expected. I personally expect him back by Summer Slam. He will not
be part of DX. At Summer Slam he will most likely fight HHH.
What a Nightgown match it was.
Yoshihiro Tajiri, formerely the Big Japan Jr. Heavyweight Champion,
has reportedly signed with the WWF and will help Taka battle Klub Kamakazi.
